RandSim Labs

Privacy

The short version: this site collects no personal data from visitors.

What this site is. RandSim Labs is a pilot property of Rand Simulation (a Rand Worldwide company brand) hosting AI-driven simulation studies, a community idea board, and a run queue. It is served as a static site on Google Firebase Hosting.

What we collect from visitors: nothing

Idea submission & reviewer sign-in

Submitting an idea needs no account and records no identity. To keep automated spam out, the browser is issued an invisible, anonymous Firebase token when you use the form — it carries no name, email, or profile, and nothing personal is stored with a submission (the optional "your name" field is whatever you type, including nothing). Every submission is read by a Rand engineer before it appears publicly or anything runs.

Reviewing runs is separate: the review console requires a Google sign-in checked against a reviewer allowlist. That applies to Rand engineers only — visitors are never asked to sign in.

Infrastructure

The site is hosted on Google Firebase (Hosting and Firestore). Google may process standard operational logs (such as IP addresses) as our hosting provider, per Firebase's privacy documentation. We do not access or analyze such logs for visitor tracking.

For Rand Simulation's corporate practices, see the main site's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use — they govern everything that routes there, including the contact form. (The main site's "Do Not Sell" control relates to its cookie tooling; Labs sets no cookies, so there is nothing here to opt out of.) Questions? Use the contact form.
